Large Original Japanese Watercolor Painting signed " Yo Kouchi " or "Yokouchi". Mat opening size - 12 1/2" x 18 3/4" Outer frame size - 20" x 25 1/2" Impressionist style Oriental watercolor of boats in misty harbor or river. Soft tones of purple/browns. Signed on the lower right. Condition: There is some light foxing, see photos. I took this out of the frame as it had come loose from the mat. It is mounted to the back mat board by a strip of tape along the top edge. It is not laid or glued down to the back board. There is some slight waviness to the paper mostly along the top edge. The front mat is time discolored and has a stain on the bottom left. It is in it's original ? narrow oriental style wood frame that has some nicks and scratches.
