Monday, 9 July 2007 Dutch Iris by Hisui Sugiura. Original Japanese woodblock print circa 1929. Print has never been framed and is in pristine condition. 18.2 x 12.0 inches. Strong texture and ink bleedthrough on fine washi. Nice baren rubbings on verso. Artist's seal embossed in lower right of image. Sticker on verso identies, title, artist, printer and publisher. Highest qualaity floral woodblock print.
