An amazing original, unframed woodblock print from the 1950s by Sadanobu Hasegawa. Titled "Shibaraku" (Stop a minute!) one of the best known Kabuki plays. Very detailed and precise printing, gauffrage on the actor's robe. Published by Uchida, Kyoto. Uchida name watermarked in the paper. Attached at the right side to the original backing paper. Very good condition. 17 3/4 x 11 1/4 inches.
