Mounted as a triptych; backed, folded in middle of center sheet. Notes: Signed: "Akika". Names of Japanese ships, right to left: "Hashidate, Naniwa", "Matsushima"(Flagship), "Hiyei". Below Japanese Torpedo-boats. Chinese ships, left to right : Unidentified; "Hein'; "Chien" (probably "Chih-yuen"), sunk; "Joenchoyo". Works by Akika are scarce, and little is known about the artist.
