Kotozuka Japanese Rice Farmer Woodblock Print Up for auction we have this gorgeous Japanese woodblock. It depicts a pastoral scene of Japanese rice farmers in the paddies planting that year's crop. There are homes and the village gate in the background. The colors are vivid and the details sharp. It is titled and signed(with seal too) on the bottom right hand corner. There is also a label on the back page of the folio - see pix. The visible image measures 15 3/4" x 10 3/4" and the outside dimensions are 18" x 12". The condition is great with no visible staining.
