Thursday, 26 July 2007 Japanese Woodblock Print by Kawase Hasui Skirt of Mt. Fuji Artist: Kawase Hasui Date:1953 , Published by Watanabe Shozaburo Image Size: Oban, about 10" x 15" Condition: Fine color and bleed through, very good condition, some slight waves. Absolutely no water damage to this print. I took these pictures outside and most of them show shadows, but there are not shadows or problems with the prints unless noted. May be a calendar print commissioned by Pacific Transport lines (edition of 500 copies), never been framed This woodblock print is part of a hanging calendar / portfolio and each print is attached just at the top. The other paper shows yellowing around the edges but the print itself is in great condition. There are eleven other prints from this portfolio that I am listing individually. The other Kawase Hasui woodblock prints I have listed in seperate auctions are: All are oban, about 10" x 15"
