Wednesday, 26 April 2006 An original woodblock print titled "Miyajima in Fog" by the Japanese master Hasui Kawase (1883-1957). This image was first published c.1947. Exact date of this print is unknown, but 6 mm. Round publisher seal of Watanabe Shozaburo indicates c. 1947-1957. Signature: (Japanese signature in black, artists seal in red) (Watanabe seal in black) (Japanese inscriptions in left margin) Dimensions: image size 14 3/8" x 9 1/2" h paper size 15 5/8" x 10 3/8" h Condition: Very Good….there are 2 pinholes in the top margin
