Watanabe Reference No Hotei #454 Size 10 -5/8 x 15 -3/4 " Condition Very fine, with much brighter colors than shown in the Hotei example. Very scarce with the chop of the printer - "Surishi Ono Gintaro" (Print master Ono Gintaro), in the lower right margin under the Watanabe copyright seal. Notes: First edition prints from the late 1930's and 1940's are seldom seen due to paper rationing at that time, and the fact that Watanabe had a dwindling number of foreign customers. As a result, he printed fewer examples.
