Kawase- Twilight at Ushibori.jpg is: Twilight at Ushibori, 1930 Kawase Hasui (1883 ? 1957) Twilight at Ushibori The setting sun over the marshes at Ushibori. This mid summer’s scene shows a sailboat floating in the still water under the vibrant twilit sky. Hasui uses beautiful rich colors, predominately blues, greens and yellow. This beautiful print is a favorite Hasui summer image, a wonderful design that evokes a quiet, still atmosphere. Signed- Kawase Hasui with red artist’s seal “sui” Sealed- Publisher Kawaguchi, later edition original, from original blocks Image size- 10 5/8” x 15” (large oban tate-e) Condition- Excellent, no toning, tears, not mounted, full margins.
