Tuesday, 20 January 2009 Modern Japanese Portrait Signed Woodblock Print 1960s Description: Woodblock on paper, unframed (attached to backing board). Signed within print lower right. Japanese signature, date and number in pencil lower margin: "65 3/90". Dimensions: Platemarks: 16 3/4 x 11 3/4in. Board: 23 3/4 x 17 1/4in. Weight: 8oz. (Box G) Condition: Print laid down to backing board with adhesive along edges verso and tape recto. Slight darkening to paper throughout. Mat burn along all four margins. Slight rippling to paper. 1/2in. long pen mark located 4in. from lower edge and 1/2in. from right side. Light soiling to surface. Ligth soiling to surface. Otherwise, very good condition overall.
