Beschreibung:
Utemaro Azechi (born 1902) Japanese Woodblock Print. Measures 20 1/2" x 29 1/2". Pencil dated and signed on the lower left (-59 W. AZECHI). Red hanko above the signature on lower left. Penciled number 5 from the series of 50 on lower right. Pencil titled in Japanese on the back lower right. I can not translate. In tones of blue, black, white, red, and greyish blue. This Japanese woodblock print has toning and also the edges are frayed and torn but doesn't interfere with the print. Dusty, needs a good cleaning.
