Colour woodblock print, an oban diptych from an album of 117 sheets. The kabuki actors Ichikawa Danjuro VII as Danshichi, standing beneath a willow tree with sword in hand, and Iwai Hanshiro V as Onaka in the play ‘Soga matsuri ikiji kurabe’ by Tsuruya Nanboku IV performed at the Morita-za in the 5th month of 1813. ‘Natsu matsuri Naniwa kagami’.
