The kabuki actor Matsumoto Koshiro V as Takechi Mitsuhide standing in a straw raincoat, holding a straw hat and a long bamboo spear, in the play ‘Renga no hana tsuki mo Mitsuhide’ (連歌月光秀), (also read as ‘Kotoba no hana tsuki mo Mitsuhide’); performed at the Nakamura-za in the 9th month of 1817 (Bunka 14).
