From the series "Fuzoku Sanjuniso" ("Thirty-two Aspects of Customs and Manners of Women"), "Warm : The Appearance of an Urban Widow of the Kansei Era (1789 - 1810)". She warms herself in "kotatsu" (Japanese traditional foot warmer) while reading a book. Her pet cat sleeps comfortably on the "kotatsu", also.
