Book illustration (sashi-e) of three court ladies in a palace living room. They are playing "go" game. The cabinet doors in the alcove are decorated with sumi-e and nihon-ga paintings. Many books, rolled pictures, a box stored tanzaku papers are stored on the cabinet.
