Two Russian patrol men encounter a Japanese scout near a red shrine entrance around Amnokkang (Ouryokkou in Japanese) river in Korea. The Russo-Japanese war woodblock prints were not produced as many as the Sino-Japanese war prints. By then, the woodblock prints for the purpose of news reporting were largely replaced by other mass-production methods.
