The Japanese battle ship sank two Russian battle ships in Chemulpo (Jinsen in Japanese) on February 9th. The Russo-Japanese war prints were much rarer than Sino-Japanese war prints. By then, the woodblock prints for the purpose of news reporting were largely replaced by other mass-production methods.
